Date a Live
A shy high‑schooler discovers he can save humanity from catastrophic “spacequakes” by making powerful, reality‑bending spirits fall in love with him and sealing their powers with a kiss.
Thirty years ago, a mysterious phenomenon known as a "spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, resulting in the deaths of at least 150 million people. Since then, smaller spacequakes have continued to occur irregularly around the world. Shido Itsuka, an ordinary high school student, encounters a mysterious girl at the site of a recent spacequake and discovers she is one of the "Spirits"—beings responsible for triggering spacequakes when they manifest in the world. Shido is recruited to use his unique ability to seal the Spirits' powers, preventing them from endangering humanity. However, there is a condition: to seal a Spirit's power, Shido must make her fall in love with him and kiss him.
