Mi Chong is a young man suffering from severe social anxiety, leading to a reclusive lifestyle marked by isolation and emotional distress. Dissatisfied with his bleak existence, he decides to end his life and heads to a nearby river with that intention. However, upon witnessing a young girl named Zhi Liu struggling in the water, he instinctively jumps in to rescue her. Zhi Liu, though an extrovert, has endured a difficult and turbulent family life, prompting her to seek escape from the people who have caused her pain. Despite their contrasting personalities, an unexpected friendship forms between Mi Chong and Zhi Liu. The question remains whether this bond might eventually lead to love.
