Freelance programmer Sakagami is paralyzed from the waist down and uses a wheelchair. He founded a company named dele.LIFE in collaboration with a law firm started by his late father. At the request of clients, Sakagami partners with a freelance jack-of-all-trades named Mashiba to erase any negative digital records left on the computers and smartphones of deceased individuals. While they are instructed not to view the contents of these files, they often become involved when they sense something unusual about the client's death.
