Diff'rent Strokes
Two Harlem brothers thrust into a lavish Park Avenue home must navigate class and culture clashes while learning what true family means, all under the watchful eye of their generous benefactor and his spirited daughter.
The series features Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges in the roles of Arnold and Willis Jackson, two African American brothers from Harlem who are taken in by a wealthy white businessman named Phillip Drummond and his daughter Kimberly, for whom their late mother had previously worked. In the first season and the first half of the second season, Charlotte Rae also appears as the Drummonds' housekeeper, Mrs. Garrett.
