"ZERV" portrays the early years following the fall of the Wall, the disruptions in life paths, the vastly different biographies, and the successful convergence through the shared struggle against crime, which transcends East and West. ZERV stands for the Central Investigation Office for Government and Association Crime, established in Berlin in 1991 by decision of the federal government.
