Synopsis
The TARDIS arrives in London during an air raid after following an unexplained capsule through time. Rose investigates when a small child wearing a gasmask, standing on a rooftop, repeatedly calls out for his mother. After boarding a barrage balloon, Rose is suddenly taken by Captain Jack Harkness, another time traveller. Meanwhile, The Doctor follows a teenage girl to a gathering of homeless children from the Blitz, where the gasmasked child is causing a series of strange occurrences, continuing to demand his mother's presence.
