Two decades after a devastating angelic attack on humanity, a reluctant savior emerges to defend Vega, the last human stronghold. As the savior faces the threat of returning angels, they also uncover a dangerous power struggle among the human elites.

Alex struggles with his reluctant acceptance of being the Chosen One until a hidden danger in Vega emerges, compelling him to act to safeguard those he cares about. Meanwhile, Michael has a final meeting with Gabriel as tensions escalate toward a renewed war between angels and humans, and General Riesen and David Whele work to resolve outstanding issues.
