Nan Xiangwan, a 28-year-old HR manager, appears to have a successful life but struggles with anxiety. Her psychiatric treatment triggers memories of her high school years a decade earlier, when she felt out of place and faced numerous obstacles in her pursuit of admission to her dream university. She dealt with classmates who disrupted her studies, a strained relationship with her father, and painful recollections of high school. During this time, she meets and forms a friendship with Lin Xiaoran, a sports student. As their bond grows, Xiangwan comes to understand that beyond academic success, people possess valuable qualities, and that winning is not the only measure of worth.
