Don't Wait Up
Two doctors, estranged from their spouses, become roommates—though they also happen to be father and son. Can they share an apartment without driving each other crazy? No, but they do it anyway. Tom Latimer is a young and hardworking general practitioner who has survived an expensive and nasty divorce. He now lives in an apartment while his ex-wife remains in their former home. Things get worse for Tom when his father, dermatologist Toby Latimer, arrives with the news that he and Tom’s mother are also getting divorced—and that he is moving in. The situation evokes *The Odd Couple*, as father and son must learn to tolerate each other's idiosyncrasies.
