Doomed Megalopolis
In the early 20th century, a spiritual conflict unfolds in the heart of Tokyo as Japan undergoes a sweeping industrial transformation influenced by Western ideals. By 1908, the country is rapidly modernizing, with Tokyo at the forefront of this change, shifting focus away from traditional values. Yasumasa Hirai, an Onmyoji from the Tsuchimikado Family, is summoned from Kyoto to Tokyo to attend a secret meeting about plans to make Tokyo the most commercially prosperous and spiritually blessed city in Japan. Opposing him is Yasunori Kato, an Onmyoji whose goal is the total destruction of Tokyo. The two Onmyoji confront each other in a battle that determines the future of Tokyo and the Japanese Empire.
