Doomwatch
Doomwatch is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC, which aired on BBC 1 from 1970 to 1972. Set in the present day at the time of its production, the series follows a government scientific agency led by Doctor Spencer Quist, tasked with investigating and addressing ecological and technological threats. The series was adapted into a film produced by Tigon British Film Productions, released in 1972. A revival TV film was later broadcast on Channel 5 in 1999.
