Dragonaut: The Resonance
A grieving teen is thrust into the cockpit of a giant dragon‑powered weapon to stop an asteroid, only to battle rogue draconic monsters threatening Earth’s survival.
When an asteroid is discovered on a collision course with Earth, the International Space Defense Agency (ISDA) develops the "Dragonaut" as a means of preventing the planet's destruction, after discovering a dragon egg beneath the ocean. The Dragonaut is designed to destroy the asteroid upon impact. However, it soon becomes clear that the asteroid is not the only threat, as powerful dragon-like creatures emerge with destructive intent. Jin Kamishina, an 18-year-old boy who has become isolated since losing his family in a shuttle accident, becomes involved in the mystery of the dragons after witnessing one of the creatures commit murder. He is chosen as the Dragonaut's pilot. Assisting him is Toa, a mysterious girl who saves him from falling to his death during an attack by one of the creatures.
