Draw The Line

Fang Yuan, chief judge of the Xingcheng District People's Court, and Song Yufei, deputy chief judge of the Criminal Division of the Rongzhou Intermediate People's Court, are apprentices of Zhang Weimin, vice president of the Xingcheng District People's Court. The three have devoted their youth and passion to China's judicial career. Fang Yuan's apprentice and legal assistant, Zhou Yi'an, has recently become a post judge. The original group of mentors and apprentices is now dispersed to different trial positions, continuing to contribute in their new roles. The unexpected demotion of Ye Xin, a young female cadre of the Supreme Court Research Office, has brought further changes to the Xingcheng Court. These three generations of court personnel, through each case they handle, continue to uphold the tradition of mentorship and guidance, while adhering to the principles of justice, morality, and humanity.
