A wealthy man is injured during a hunting trip and is healed by a rural herbalist. He falls in love with her and promises to return, but does not come back for years. When the elderly man suffers a heart attack and is hospitalized, it is the herbalist’s granddaughter, Xie Fu An, who also practices herbal medicine, that treats and saves him. Upon realizing how much Fu An resembles the woman he once loved, he declares he will give his entire fortune to the man who marries her. The man’s grandson, Yan Da Feng, an arrogant young man who expected to inherit the wealth, becomes alarmed and hires someone to kill Fu An, believing she is about to take his inheritance. However, after meeting Fu An, Da Feng begins to fall in love with her and decides to marry her himself. The question remains: can Da Feng stop the dangerous actions he set in motion and still have a happy ending with Fu An?
