Escape at Dannemora

Following a major prison break at Clinton Correctional Facility in 2015, Joyce "Tilly" Mitchell is investigated for her connection to two inmates involved in the escape. Earlier that year, Tilly, a prison tailor, navigates a growing attraction to inmate David Sweat while maintaining her marriage to her husband, Lyle. Meanwhile, inmate Richard Matt, known for his artistic skills, trades paintings for favors and eventually develops an interest in Tilly.

Matt devises a plan to escape Dannemora, but Sweat is hesitant to take part. Meanwhile, Matt assists Tilly in resolving a conflict with another inmate in the prison shop, and Sweat grows increasingly reliant on the protection Matt provides.
