Fafner Exodus

In the year 2150 A.D., the conflict with the Festum, silicon-based life-forms from distant outer space, had entered a new phase. The North Polar Meir, which had been destroyed during the First Azure Operation, had scattered its fragments across the globe. These fragments began functioning independently as separate Meirs. Most of these Meirs harbored hostility toward humanity and engaged in combat, while a portion of the Festum opted for coexistence with mankind. Amid this conflict, Ryugujima island had withdrawn from the frontlines and remained silent. Since their encounter with Misao Kurusu two years earlier, the island had developed the ability to communicate with the Meir. The children of ALVISS had been seeking ways to understand their enemy as they prepared for battle. Now, the island was on the verge of another transformation. A girl who understands the language of the Festum and a girl protected by a Festum are about to meet, opening the door to a new universe.
