Fair City
Fair City is an Irish television soap opera that airs on RTÉ One. Produced by the national broadcaster RTÉ, the series premiered on Monday, 18 September 1989. It has received multiple awards and is recognized as the most popular and longest-running Irish soap opera. The series follows the domestic and professional lives of the residents of Carrigstown, a fictional suburb located on the north side of Dublin. Initially broadcast as a weekly half-hour episode for a limited run, it is now shown year-round with four episodes per week. Fair City is the most-watched drama in Ireland, with regular viewership ranging between 500,000 and 600,000.
