Fairy Gone

In a world where fairies reside within animals, granting them supernatural abilities, these beings have historically been used as tools of war. By extracting the organs of a possessed animal and transplanting them into humans, individuals can summon a fairy as an alter ego, transforming themselves into powerful weapons. Those who wielded fairies in this way were known as "Fairy Soldiers." After the war ended and their roles were fulfilled, these soldiers found themselves without purpose. Some took positions within the government, others joined organized crime, and some became terrorists, each forging their own path in the aftermath. Nine years after the war, the story follows Mariya, a new recruit to "Dorothea," an organization tasked with investigating and suppressing fairy-related crimes. In a politically unstable environment, former war criminals and those still bearing the scars of past conflicts resurface, engaging in terrorism as acts of revenge. The narrative explores the lives of Fairy Soldiers as they pursue their own sense of justice in a turbulent postwar world.
