Family Matters

In 13 episodes, the fictional series "Family Issues" portrays the life of Peter, a family court judge who follows a very common routine. He has a troubled past—his mother abandoned him as a child—and continues to deal with family problems, including his brother's struggle to overcome drug addiction and his father's hospitalization due to a terminal illness. As Peter confronts his own family dilemmas, he witnesses complex family cases in the courtroom, such as ex-spouses fighting over material possessions or child custody, and children who are rejected or unrecognized. Driven by a need to do justice, Peter develops an investigative and dark side outside the courtroom that puts him at risk.
