Fashion Star
*Fashion Star* is an American reality television series that aired on NBC. Created by Rick Ringbakk, the show centers on fashion design and is hosted by Louise Roe. In the first season, it was hosted by Elle Macpherson. Contestants compete against each other to create the best clothing designs under time, material, and theme constraints. Their work is evaluated by judges, and one or more designers are eliminated each week. On May 11, 2012, NBC announced the renewal of *Fashion Star* for a second season. The second season premiered on Friday, March 8, 2013. On July 27, 2013, NBC announced the cancellation of *Fashion Star* after two seasons.
