Fight Quest is a television show that aired on the Discovery Channel. A preview episode was broadcast on December 28, 2007, and the series began its regular weekly run on January 4, 2008. The show followed Jimmy Smith and Doug Anderson as they traveled around the world to learn various martial arts styles. Each episode featured the hosts spending five days training with notable masters of the respective styles, culminating in a final demonstration or fight to showcase what they had learned. According to statements from the hosts, the show was cancelled after the first season. An updated DVD box set was released in late February that included the final three episodes not included in the original release. The series was canceled at the start of the second season, with only three episodes airing before its conclusion on October 3, 2008.
