Synopsis
Ippo and his coach travel to the city for a featherweight title bout between reigning champion Takeshi Sendo and challenger Shigeta Akira. In the early stages of the fight, Sendo has difficulty adjusting his strategy to counter the southpaw Shigeta, who skillfully avoids his attacks and lands effective counters, including evading Sendo's signature technique, the Smash.
