First Love Again
In 2019, physicist Ye You Ning returns to his hometown in China after many years abroad to care for his ailing grandfather. Following a thunderstorm, he is unexpectedly transported back to 2006, during his school days. He discovers that the key to his time travel lies in the mobile phone of Xia Wen Xi, his optimistic and cheerful deskmate. As he tries to return to his original timeline by communicating with Xia Wen Xi through the phone and influencing past events, he relives different moments of his life, confronts his regrets, and reflects on the significance of his choices and the value of the people he encountered, including Xia Wen Xi and his former classmates, whom he had not fully appreciated.
