Fish Police
*Fish Police* is a comic book series created by cartoonist Steve Moncuse. The story follows law and crime in a fictional underwater metropolis, with the protagonist, Inspector Gill, attempting to solve various crimes—often linked to the Mafia—while resisting the advances of the attractive Angel Jones. The comic features a range of marine species as characters, with plots and dialogue inspired by the style of film noir. Original *Fish Police* stories were published from 1985 to 1991 and included the early work of Sam Kieth as an inker.
