Forbidden Love

Michi, a 26-year-old high school math teacher, tentatively accepts her boyfriend's proposal of marriage, uncertain of her feelings for him but influenced by pressure from her father and societal expectations. Hikaru, a 17-year-old boy struggling with a difficult home life and a history of being expelled from multiple high schools for behavioral issues, joins Michi's class as a new transfer student. As their relationship develops, they both come to realize they have lost themselves due to the pressures of those around them, and this shared experience draws them into a close, potentially dangerous connection. The story that follows is an emotional exploration of forbidden love, as Michi faces societal judgment for what is perceived as corrupting a minor, abandoning her fiancé, and disappointing her parents and colleagues.
