Friedliche Weihnachten

Johanna (Valerie Huber) and Anton (Timur Bartels) have been happily together for nearly a year when planning their Christmas celebration at the beginning of November puts their young relationship to the test. Although the couple would prefer to spend the holiday, which also marks their anniversary, alone, their families—particularly Johanna's father, Prof. Dr. dr Dietrich Hansen (Uwe Ochsenknecht)—insist on maintaining old traditions and demand their presence. Johanna comes up with a solution: her brother-in-law Oliver (Wayne Carpendale) owns a large chalet in the Austrian mountains, spacious enough to accommodate both families and ideal for their first extended family gathering. As generations, cultures, and social expectations clash, Anton secretly prepares to propose to Johanna amid the inevitable chaos.
