Richard Feynman, a theoretical physicist, was known for his enthusiasm in discussing the exploratory nature of science. In 1983, the BBC broadcast *Fun to Imagine*, a television series hosted by Feynman that applied principles of physics to explain everyday phenomena—such as why rubber bands are stretchy, why tennis balls can’t bounce forever, and what one is actually seeing when looking in a mirror. For those unfamiliar with him, Feynman was a Nobel Prize-winning physicist with a talent for various pursuits, including the popularization of science, especially physics.
