Josh Futturman, a janitor stuck in a monotonous routine, spends his time playing *Biotic Wars*, a video game others have abandoned. After finally beating the game, he is visited by people from the future who claim he is the only one who can prevent a global catastrophe.

In 1969, Josh, Tiger, and Wolf attempt to disrupt a fraternity party to stop Dr. Kronish from contracting herpes, but their actions lead to unintended consequences that soon come back to haunt them.

Tiger and Wolf plot to kill Dr. Kronish, persuading Josh to assist. When Josh refuses to follow through, he becomes their next target.

After a failed assassination attempt on Dr. Kronish, Tiger and Wolf remove Josh from the mission. When they discover their Time Travel Device has been compromised, Josh negotiates his return by offering to secure additional fuel.

Tiger, Wolf, and Josh investigate undercover Biotics at the Kronish Labs Christmas party. At the same time, Josh develops a closer relationship with coworker Jeri, who assists him in evading a persistent, obsessive police officer.

As time runs out before a bomb detonates in the head of their captured Biotic, Josh, Tiger, and Wolf conduct a tense interrogation in Josh's bedroom, unaware that his parents are hosting a holiday dinner downstairs.

Josh, Tiger, and Wolf travel to the future in search of much-needed fuel for their mission, only to face an unforeseen adversary upon arrival.

As Tiger and Wolf prepare for their final time jump to complete their mission, Josh refuses to let them go after his mother is kidnapped, prompting them to launch a rescue operation.

Josh takes control of the TTD and leads the team through time to stop Dr. Kronish, but when Wolf disappears, they are forced to separate, leaving Josh to pursue his risky plan on his own.

Josh struggles to alter Dr. Kronish's future without disrupting his own timeline, while Tiger and Wolf clash over Wolf's growing uncertainty about their shared mission.

The team becomes fragmented due to internal conflicts, sending members across different points in history. Tiger and Wolf confront the personal changes brought on by the mission and the growing fear that they may not succeed.

Josh finds that his actions in the past have rewritten his present for the better, while Wolf and Tiger confront the consequences of their unsuccessful time-travel mission.

With time running out and their previous efforts leading to greater catastrophe, the team acknowledges the full extent of their mistakes and prepares for a last-ditch operation to stop Dr. Kronish and the Cure for good.

Josh is surprised to find himself unexpectedly released from prison and soon begins to notice strange inconsistencies in his reality. As he tries to understand what has happened, he becomes entangled in a sinister scheme that threatens to upend everything he knows.

Tiger and Wolf reach the future they helped create. Tiger, unwelcome in The NAG, travels to The Mons, where she discovers that humanity is relocating to Mars, her DNA contributed to a cure, and Stu Camillo exists as a functioning hologram.

Wolf is mistaken for Torque, the leader of a technophobic society known as the NAG, which practices six-parent families. As he navigates this unfamiliar world, he learns more about its strict customs and rejection of technology. Despite attempting to escape, he finds himself drawn to the intriguing, if bizarre, aspects of this new life.

Tiger begins to interact with her doppelgänger, Ty-Anne, while Wolf adjusts to life at the NAG. Meanwhile, Josh, after wandering the desert, is captured and assigned to the NAG, where he is forced into indentured servitude as a technology smasher.

Josh, Tiger, and Wolf embark on a mission to locate their TTD and confront the Pointed Circle.

Tiger exploits Stu's affection for her in an effort to locate Athena, while Josh, now a "Smasher," is sent to a labor camp and targeted by the Pointed Circle. Meanwhile, Wolf seeks to upgrade the NAG and confronts Supreme Overlord Vice.

Wolf defies warnings regarding the Pointed Circle and takes Josh to live outside the Clusternest. Meanwhile, Tiger hits a dead end in her search for the TTD.

Stu invites a downcast Tiger into a simulation he has created, where the rules of reality are fluid, leading to a deeper emotional connection between the two.

Stu deploys commandos to capture Josh within the NAG, leading to a violent confrontation. In the aftermath, Josh and Wolf uncover the identity of Achilles, the mysterious head of the Pointed Circle.

Ty-Anne recounts her childhood with Stu and her early involvement with The Pointed Circle, while Josh becomes convinced that he holds the solution to finally defeating Stu.

Josh attempts a dangerous solo mission to infiltrate Stu's upload machine and stop him, as the MARS launch takes place.

The team utilizes the TTD to repeatedly travel back in time through an 11-second window in an attempt to access and destroy Stu's brain.

Josh, Tiger, and Wolf find themselves imprisoned in the distant future after repeated time travel mishaps, now facing a death sentence in the year 3491. Their friendship is put to the test by the harsh treatment of their jailer, Susan, who subjects them to cruel and unusual punishment.

Josh, Tiger, and Wolf participate in the Diecathalon, but an unexpected complication causes tension and conflict among them.

Josh relies on his intuition during a challenging task, Wolf excels in a situation that plays to his strengths, and Tiger faces difficulties adjusting to the new conditions.
