Geordie Shore
Geordie Shore is a British reality television series that aired on MTV. Set in Newcastle upon Tyne, the show debuted on 24 May 2011 and serves as the British counterpart to the American series Jersey Shore. "Geordie" refers to the regional nickname and dialect of the people from the Tyneside area of North East England, and is closely linked to Newcastle upon Tyne and its surrounding areas. While the show is based in this region, it features participants from different parts of North East England.
