Groovie Goolies

Groovie Goolies is an American animated television show that originally aired on network television from 1970 to 1972. Produced by Filmation, it was a spinoff of *Sabrina the Teenage Witch*. Like many Saturday morning cartoons of the time, *Groovie Goolies* featured an adult laugh track. In 1977, the show entered syndication as part of an anthology series titled *The Groovie Goolies and Friends*, which included over 104 half-hour episodes. The syndication version introduced new opening credits and "bumpers" showing the Goolies interacting with characters from the other shows, while retaining the original end credits of each series. The package also included *The New Adventures of Waldo Kitty*, *Lassie's Rescue Rangers*, *The New Adventures of Gilligan*, *My Favorite Martians*, *M.U.S.H.*, *Fraidy Cat*, and *Wacky and Packy*.
