Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation

In the year A.D. 2115, the island nation once known as Japan is now referred to as the "17th Far East Imperial City Management District." Citizens were promised peace in exchange for some of the comforts they had previously enjoyed. Many believed their lives would remain unchanged, with each day mirroring the last. However, an unforeseen threat loomed over society: "Degradation," a rare and deadly disease that causes the human body to disintegrate into a pile of sand, was spreading across the world. Tohru Kazasumi, an ordinary student, becomes involved in a multiversal conflict between his world and the parallel world of "Frontier S (Stratos)." This conflict forces Tohru to battle a version of himself from an alternate reality. As their futures intersect, the question remains: can both worlds ever achieve peace?
