Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens

Set in the seemingly tranquil city of Fukuoka, a hidden underworld thrives beneath its surface, populated by killers, detectives, and professional revenge seekers. Among them is Zenji Banba, a calm and perceptive detective who is investigating the activities of local hitman companies. Banba may not be the only one with grievances against these organizations, as Xianming Ling, a crossdressing hitman working for one of these groups, grows increasingly frustrated with his lack of assignments and fair compensation. After Ling's target unexpectedly commits suicide before he can carry out the hit, his employer refuses to pay him even half of the agreed amount. Seeking resolution, Ling requests a new mission and is assigned to eliminate Banba, whom his company suspects of interfering with their operations. However, when Banba arrives at his home and discovers Ling inside, the hitman does not attempt to kill him. Instead, he offers Banba an alternative: to join forces and form a team. With this unexpected proposal, the question remains—how will Banba respond, and what does Ling truly intend for the criminal underworld of Fukuoka?
