Halifax f.p.
*Halifax f.p.* is an Australian television crime series produced by the Nine Network from 1994 to 2002. The series stars Rebecca Gibney as Dr. Jane Halifax, a forensic psychiatrist who investigates cases involving the mental state of suspects or victims. The series is set in Melbourne. The producers of the series were Beyond Simpson Le Mesurier, the Australian Film Finance Corporation, and Nine Network Australia Pty Ltd. Twenty-one episodes, each 90 to 102 minutes in length, were produced, and the series has screened in more than 60 countries. The budget for each episode averaged $1.3 million. Funding was partially provided by the Australian Film Finance Corporation and Film Victoria.
