Haruka arrives at her grandmother's house and is struck by the beauty of the ocean nearby. She rushes to the beach, where she encounters two girls who are playing beach volleyball.

Haruka casually promises to play with Narumi and Ayasa again, unaware they are national champions. A rematch is set for the following week, prompting Haruka to train with Kanata, an experienced beach volleyball player.

Only one team from Okinawa will advance to the nationals, likely making it a competition between Claire and Emily or Haruka and Kanata. Akari learns the news in advance and struggles with how to share it with the others.
