Hatena Illusion

Long ago, numerous magical "Artifacts" were stolen and scattered across the world, falling into the possession of individuals unaware of their true nature. The Hoshisato family of magicians holds special access to these Artifacts and has taken it upon themselves to return them to their rightful place. Though inexperienced, Kana is eager to assist her parents and is making efforts to improve. At the same time, her childhood friend Makoto arrives at their mansion to study magic under the guidance of her father. Hatena is thrilled to reunite with her friend, only to feel deeply disappointed when she discovers that the person she believed to be a girl has in fact been a boy all along. Soon after, Makoto learns about the Artifacts. Despite this revelation, he remains undeterred, continuing to work toward fulfilling his promises and staying true to his reason for learning magic: to bring comfort to those around him and, above all, to become a person worthy of being Hatena's partner.
