HERO

Kohei Kuryu is a former juvenile delinquent who drops out of junior high school and later earns a high school equivalency diploma. After passing the bar examination, he becomes a prosecutor. Unlike a typical prosecutor, Kuryu's unconventional style is evident in his appearance, and he demonstrates quick instincts and a street-smart cleverness developed during his difficult upbringing. Maiko Amamiya is a sharp-witted public prosecutor determined to pass the exam to become a deputy prosecutor and gain recognition from her superior. Kuryu, having built a reputation for his exceptional performance, is transferred to Amamiya's division, where he begins to consider the possibility of promotion. However, his unorthodox work methods soon bring progress to a standstill. Despite being labeled a bad apple, Kuryu's strong sense of justice gradually begins to influence those around him.
