Synopsis
An immortal friend of MacLeod's is killed in a remote mountain hideaway, where he had sought peace away from the ongoing war between immortals. A mentally impaired homeless veteran is accused of the murder, and the case is linked to the earlier death of Slan Quince, an immortal foe MacLeod had defeated. MacLeod works to prove the man's innocence and uncover the true identity of his friend's killer, while flashbacks reveal glimpses of his past during the American Civil War.
