Holocaust
In 1935 in Berlin, Germany, Karl Weiss, a Jewish painter, marries Inga Helms, a Christian woman. On the same day, the Weiss family and the couple become entangled in the escalating turmoil of the Nazi regime, the outbreak of World War II, and the atrocities of the Final Solution, the Holocaust, the Shoah. Meanwhile, Erik Dorf, an ambitious lawyer, begins his descent into moral ruin under the influence of the menacing Reinhard Heydrich.
