Home Movies
The TV series follows the life of Brendon Small, an eight-year-old visionary who directs over a thousand homemade films using his friends Jason and Melissa as actors. Brendon's parents are divorced, though he does not find it unusual, as many other children also have divorced parents. In contrast, his friend Jason feels upset because his parents are still together. At school, Brendon is taught soccer by his coach, John McGuirk, whom he refers to as "that weird Irish guy."
