Hori leads a dual life, balancing her role as a fashionable and popular student with her responsibilities as a strict and attentive caregiver at home. When she meets her classmate Miyamura, she learns they have something in common: both live double lives that hide their true identities.

After being questioned by her mother, Hori confronts a troubling truth about Miyamura. At the same time, Hori becomes involved in an argument while assisting the Student Council, which Miyamura helps resolve.

Miyamura reflects on his personal history and current circumstances, while Hori faces the fallout from Remi's self-centered request. Tensions between Ishikawa and Miyamura escalate, ultimately leading to a physical confrontation.

The student council room becomes a casual meeting place where Hori teases Miyamura in a lighthearted manner, attempting to throw him off balance. A surprise visit from an old friend brings out a new aspect of Miyamura's character. When Hori becomes ill, Miyamura takes it upon himself to assist her.

A rumor about their relationship creates tension between Hori and Miyamura, while Kyosuke quickly bonds with Miyamura upon returning home. Meanwhile, Sakura begins to reconsider the nature of her friendship with Remi.

Hori, in contrast, becomes increasingly concerned about how her interest in horror is affecting her life.

Remi reflects on the start of her relationship with Sengoku, while Miyamura discovers an unexpected side to Hori's personality. At the same time, when Yoshikawa is asked out, the group turns to Ishikawa for assistance in handling the situation.

Miyamura finds himself in a tense situation when he encounters hostile individuals, leading to a confrontation. Meanwhile, Hori makes an unsettling personal request of Miyamura, and Mizouchi grapples with feelings that are not reciprocated. At the same time, Tanihara deals with a past that remains unresolved between him and Miyamura.
