Synopsis
The queen succumbs to her injuries despite attempts to save her, leaving Colt with the name she had chosen for the king, "Meruem." A final offspring is discovered within her, and Morel vows to protect it and the new king, promising an end to human consumption. Meanwhile, the other squad leaders depart to establish new colonies, while the king and royal guard journey to the neighboring nation of East Gorteau.
