Hurricanes is an animated series produced by DIC Entertainment, Siriol Productions, and Scottish Television. Cookie Jar Entertainment handled the show's distribution for syndication outside the UK, while Scottish Television retained control of the UK rights. The series premiered in 1993 and concluded in 1997.
