I Love New York

I Love New York is a reality television series that first aired on VH1. The show centers on Tiffany Pollard, who is on a journey to find her true love. It serves as a spin-off of the relationship competition series Flavor of Love, in which Pollard was a finalist in two consecutive seasons. The final episode of Season 2 was leaked online a week before its scheduled TV air date. The winner of the first season, Tango, did not become New York's soul mate, and during the second season, Tailor Made was revealed as the chosen partner. During the taping of Pollard's subsequent show, New York Goes to Hollywood, Weisgerber and Pollard reportedly separated. In addition to Pollard, several other individuals from Flavor of Love, including "Sister" Patterson, appeared on the show to assist in the selection process. Mauricio Sanchez played the role of New York's assistant, "Chamo," but only during the first season. The production of a second season of I Love New York was first announced during a commercial break in the April 29, 2007, episode of Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School. After the series concluded, the house was repurposed for the VH1 show Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School.
