I'm Taking the Day Off
Hanae Aoishi is approaching her 30th birthday. She works for a general trading company and has never missed a day of work or been late. She dresses in a simple, unassuming manner and has no dating experience. At a company party, she drinks with part-time employee Yuto Tanokura, a handsome university student. As the evening progresses, Hanae becomes drunk and passes out. When she wakes up, she finds Yuto Tanokura sleeping next to her, and both are naked. Confused about what occurred, Hanae takes a day off from work for the first time. To become more outgoing, she decides to start dating Yuto, who is nine years younger. Around the same time, Yu Asao, the CEO of a food company located in the same building as Hanae’s workplace, begins to develop feelings for her.
