Synopsis
Kagome returns to the shrine during a date with Hojo and senses the presence of Shikon Jewel shards, prompting her to return to feudal Japan. There, Naraku reveals that fifty years prior, Onigumo was in love with Kikyo. The demons drawn to Onigumo by his malice eventually devoured him, giving rise to the demon known as Naraku.
