In September 1981, Ritchie, Roscoe, and Colin become flatmates in London, navigating the challenges of friendship and adult life. As they adjust to their new shared home, the backdrop of a looming external threat reminds them that the 1980s may bring uncertain dangers.

In December 1983, Ritchie and Jill face challenges in their pursuit of acting careers, while Colin travels to New York. Gloria's unusual request forces Jill into a web of deception, as the growing AIDS crisis begins to cast a shadow over their lives.

In 1986, the Pink Palace friends navigate work, relationships, and personal growth, but their lives are upended when an unforeseen threat forces them into an intense battle.

In March 1988, Ritchie faces a solitary trip back home as tensions rise over the AIDS crisis, putting Jill in peril and setting Roscoe on a collision course with Margaret Thatcher.

In 1991, the flatmates face their most challenging time as tensions rise. Valerie becomes increasingly aggressive, and Jill takes it upon herself to assist Ritchie before the situation escalates further.
