Italia's Got Talent
*Italia's Got Talent* is the Italian version of the international *Got Talent* series. The pilot episode aired on December 12, 2009, on Canale 5, and featured the talent of Carmen Masola. The episode was viewed by 5.3 million people. Following the pilot, Mediaset decided to continue the show with a full-length season. The first season began on April 12, 2010, and received high ratings throughout its run. The judges for the show are Maria De Filippi, Gerry Scotti, and Rudy Zerbi. Contestants compete for a prize of €100,000.
