Carole Baskin, an advocate for big cats, becomes concerned when she discovers that Joe "Exotic" Schreibvogel, another exotic animal enthusiast, is breeding big cats for commercial purposes. Determined to shut down his operation, she initiates a campaign that leads to a rapidly intensifying conflict between the two. However, Carole's own past is not without controversy, and as tensions rise, Joe seeks to reveal what he perceives as her double standards, going to extreme lengths to expose her.
