Kapitein Zeppos
A mysterious man arrives in Belder on horseback and introduces himself as Captain Zeppos. At first, the townspeople are suspicious and envious of him, but he soon forms a friendship with a local named Ben Kurrel. It becomes clear that Zeppos has a specific reason for coming to Belder: a stranger in Greece had offered him money for a piece of land he had inherited near the town. Ben Kurrel, along with his friend Rita Mees, helps Zeppos investigate the matter.
