Kids' Lives Matter

Twenty years ago, a medical incident caused pediatric trainees Fong Chung-yan and Hui Kam-fung to become adversaries. Now, Chung-yan works as a consultant pediatric surgeon at a top hospital. He and Kam-fung, who is employed at a second-tier hospital, reunite over a liver transplant operation. Chung-yan persuades Kam-fung to join his elite team. He also invites cardio-thoracic surgeon Cheung Yee-sum and Chief of Service, Surgery Mak Hoi-kei to help establish a pediatrics center. As Chung-yan and Kam-fung work together on various touching and sometimes tragic cases involving sick children, they gradually reconcile their differences. Meanwhile, pediatric surgeon Man Pak-hei and anesthesia trainee Lin Cheuk-ying discover that the operation from years ago was linked to a medical error. They consider whether to expose the truth.
